NETWORKING is a common term with the computer industry as big as it is. A network can mean a lot of different things. There are networks between computers in the same company. You can network your computers at home together.
There are networks also known as affiliations.
When you get on the internet you are connected to the biggest network there is. You can get to anything via the internet, and the place you connect is networked to it, so therefore you are networked to it too.
