Welcome to the gov-usa.com website. WWP are developing this site for the government. Initially we have provided a directory of popular government websites.
GOVERNMENT consists of the ruling body of a certain area. The US government is a democracy, so the government officials are typically elected. There are some appointed positions within the government.
There is the President who is the head of the government. Then there are house of representatives and congress who are based in the state government. At these levels they’d be considered to be a part of the FEDERAL government. Then in state governments you have the GOVENOR, a County government, a city government which has the mayor of the city.
There are many other offices held that are considered part of the government. Also if you’re looking for something online and you think it might be government related try putting .gov instead of .com or .net and see if it brings anything up.
