Welcome to the state-usa.com website. WWP are developing this site for information on the individual states that make up the United States of America. Initially we have provided a directory of popular state websites.
In the United STATES there are 50 states. Two of the US’s states are not connected to the other 48 by land. Puerto Rico and or the Virgin Islands are sometimes considered part of the US but it is really 50 states.
A state is an area sectioned out of the land area owned by the US and has its own government, laws and rules and regulations. When you travel from one state to another state, it is smart if you know what the laws are before you go.
There is another meaning of state. State of mind, or state of affairs, or what state is he in? It’s kind of like what is the situation, or what was he thinking? Or what is his condition?
