More people are taking care of Estate Planning issues now, while there is still time. Estate planning is putting everything in order for those left behind to take care of your things after you're gone.
One thing you should do is choose a POWER OF ATTORNEY. This person is who will be in charge of everything once you are unable to care for it yourself, upon illness or death.
After you pass, the estate will go before a judge in what is called PROBATE. This is where anyone who wants to argue with the plans for the ESTATE can do so.
